We are commercial real estate brokers exclusively representing tenants. We have over 25 years experience navigating companies through multiple economic cycles. Our clients are companies where human capital is the most important factor in business success. To date, we’ve completed hundreds of commercial transactions worth more than $1.5 billion for companies in life science, media, FinTech, venture capital, and professional and financial services firms.
We are based in Cambridge, Massachusetts and while our clients have Massachusetts roots, as they have built a global presence, our services have evolved to represent their real estate interests locally, nationally, and overseas.
We have structured real estate transactions and assembled and managed project teams in New York City, Princeton, Chicago, Washington DC, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, and internationally in London, Oxford, the Thames River Valley, Toronto, Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, Hong Kong, Beijing, Tokyo, Singapore, and Sydney.

We deliver transaction and advisory services to senior management teams in operating companies. Our clients are generally sophisticated business people focused on their complex business problems – not real estate experts. We function as their “in house” real estate group – which allows them to leverage our expertise and postpone hiring full-time senior real estate staff. And, for clients with existing in-house expertise, we augment their skill sets and staffing needs.
Unlike other brokerage firms, our principals have served as the corporate real estate group within our client companies. We perform this “in-house” management function on a consulting basis. Once the systems are in place our job is done.
We look at real estate decisions from the operating company’s perspective: How does this space enhance my brand? Does the flow work? Does the space help me recruit and retain the right people? How does it connect me to the right ecosystem? Does my lease provide expansion and contraction flexibility? Does it help me manage business risk? Do I have business continuity at this location? What is the total life cycle occupancy cost, total cost per seat on day one, and at full capacity?
We provide continuity and consistency as the single point of contact between the company and the team of field brokers, project managers, designers, site consultants and lease administrators. We remain on the job throughout, from beginning to end. We will turn away new assignments rather than dilute our efforts or pass you over to another point of contact.
We anticipate problems and find solutions, working as ‘thought partners’ at multiple levels of your organization.
Because we will not represent landlords, we avoid the ethical dilemma of dual agency.
