Anne has over 35 years of strategic, management, financial, and commercial real estate experience, providing real estate advice to technology, energy, and life science companies. For the past 30+ years Anne has been President of Columbia Group Realty Advisors, where she has completed hundreds of real estate transactions worth more than $2 billion for clients in Boston and around the world. Prior to Columbia Group, Anne worked on the leasing team at Tishman Speyer Properties in New York City and on the investment team of AEW, one of the largest pension real estate firms in the United States.

Anne’s professional accomplishments have been widely recognized by her peers and she has received the following awards over the years:

Anne was the acting head of corporate real estate at TripAdvisor from 2013 to 2016.  She has an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MALD from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a BA from Smith College. Anne has held leadership roles in women’s health and advocacy organizations as the Board Chair for Planned Parenthood of Massachusetts and a Member of the Visiting Committee at Dana Farber Women’s Cancers Center. She is a fundraiser at a leadership level for Dana Farber, Planned Parenthood, and the Center for Reproductive Rights. In 2016 Anne was an official member of Massachusetts Governor Baker’s business mission to Israel.

Patrick Downey has 12 years of leasing, strategic consulting, and portfolio management experience at Columbia Group. Patrick has led or supported over 2M square feet of lab, R&D, and office transactions and embedded within client teams to develop management tools and resolve infrastructure challenges.  He is a two-time recipient of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board’s Deal of the Year Award (2013 Suburban Office; 2021 Industrial). In addition to his work at Columbia Group, Patrick has consulted for Harvard University’s Allston Initiatives team, MIT’s The Engine, the Cambridge Redevelopment Authority, and several Boston-based real estate developers.

Patrick holds a BA from Harvard College and an MS from MIT’s Center for Real Estate, where he was the recipient of the William Wheaton Fellowship. He currently serves as the Co-President of the MIT Center for Real Estate’s Alumni Association (AACRE) and is a past chair of the Advisory Council of Massachusetts Housing and Shelter Alliance (MHSA).
